In September, the Burys asked the Milton Township trustees to consider making a boundary adjustment to include the house and nearly three acres they own at 10095 Wadsworth Road (state Route 57), which is in Chippewa Township but adjacent to Milton Township. In the meantime, a plan to leave Chippewa and join Milton Township has stalled over procedural issues, said Lynne Bury, who owns the historic home with her husband, Gordon. ![]() The owners of the historic Zimmerman-Bury Octagon House have failed to comply with township zoning regulations, the zoning inspector maintains, though he said he holds out hope they will at least come talk with him about the issues. ![]()
